Ingredients
- 1 cup (100 g) Run of the Mill Rolled Oats
- 1 cup (100 g) Run of the Mill Quick Oats
- 1 cup (227 g) salted butter, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup (212 g) packed light brown sugar
- ½ cup (106 g) granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 ¼ cups (178 g) all-purpose flour
- ½ cup (43 g) natural unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups (340 g) semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Line 2 baking sheets.
- Cream butter, white sugar and brown sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla and eggs, and mix until creamy and light in colour
- Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until a few dry streaks remain.
- Fold chocolate chips into the batter.
- Scoop heaping tablespoons of batter onto the baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-11 minutes, and enjoy!
